Guanajuato
Situated in the midst of hills, this city emerges with the typical
colors and architecure of the region. Its name is derived from the
word "Quanashuato" from the indigenous language Tarasco,
meaning "a place with an abudance of frogs."

The ancient city of Tula is known for its main pyramid Tlahuizcalpantecuhtli,
and the temple of the morning star, at whose peak stands the
famous "atlantes" which stand at 4,6 metres high and
represent the toltécas gods.
Guadalajara
Founded in 1532,
Guadalajara today is the second most populated and
important city in Mexico, and is the birthplace of Mariache
and tequila as well as having one of the richest craft centers in the country, Tlaquepaque.
